Install in Microsoft Edge
Edge installs AImori for free from the Chrome Web Store. You allow extensions from other stores once, then one click on "Add to Chrome" is enough – no account. The download is about 160 MB because text recognition and the local AI model are included – one to two minutes, depending on your connection. You need Edge version 110 or later. Edge then installs new versions automatically.

Note
Installed from the ZIP file before? First delete that version under edge://extensions with "Remove", otherwise two versions run side by side. The version from the store updates itself.

Afterwards: reload open AI tabs
Reload any tabs with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft 365 Copilot that were already open, with F5 – only then are they protected. Next: Getting started.
Caution
Copilot in Edge: Microsoft does not let extensions run on copilot.microsoft.com in Edge. AImori cannot warn there in Edge – but it can in Chrome. Details under Supported sites.
Verify (once per AI site)
Only with official test values, never with real data:
- Enter
IBAN CH93 0076 2011 6238 5295 7(example from the SWIFT IBAN Registry) and press Enter → AImori stops the send; "Redact" replaces the IBAN with[Financial data]. - Paste the same IBAN into an empty input field (Ctrl+V) → pasting is stopped.
- The counters in the extension's popup go up. A red "!" on the icon means: protection is not currently active on this site (Troubleshooting).
